She later failed a drug test,〔http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/jul/29/commonwealth-games-chika-amalaha-fails-doping-test〕 and was temporarily banned from continuing the Games on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 after Amiloride and Hydrochlorothiazide were found in her A sample.
